A commercial workshop generates dust steadily; a teaching workshop generates it in concentrated sessions with long gaps between. The total may be lower but the peak is high, and a class of students using machinery simultaneously puts more material into the air in an hour than a single tradesperson does in a day. The reservoir on high surfaces builds the same way.
That pattern argues for cleaning immediately after use rather than on a fixed nightly cycle regardless of whether the room was used. Timetable information makes this straightforward: the room is attended after the last session that used the machinery, and skipped when it sat idle. The saving funds the high-level cycle that the space actually needs. Reviewing the timetable each term keeps the attendance aligned, since room allocations change and a schedule set in February will not fit by June.
